Our Backgrounds
Christopher served in the US Air Force and retired from the FAA in 2022, where he worked in Oklahoma City training radar system specialists. He now handles the CAD design and CNC production side of the business. Margarite served in the US Army and retired from Paycom in 2022. She's the artist — sanding, painting, and finishing every piece by hand. We have two grown kids, one son and one daughter, and Christopher's still an avid bowler on the side. Every piece we make is a handcrafted coastal gift, built to last and made with care in our home workshop.

How We Started
In 2020, we started 3D printing masks for healthcare workers and first responders during the COVID shortage — eventually running four printers around the clock and shipping over 600 masks nationwide, free of charge. That effort led to a gift from Margarite's mom: a Shapeoko CNC machine. C&M Coastal Creations came to life from there.
Why We Keep Going
This work has become our favorite kind of time together. In February 2024, we moved to St. Pete Beach as empty-nesters — and months later lost nearly everything to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We came out the other side with nothing but each other, and decided that was reason enough to start building again.
